We hope you all had a great 4th. We spent it in Seaside, Oregon. What an amazing fireworks show they offer. The weather was in the mid 70s and our boys spent over 2 hours in the frigid sea waters of Northern Oregon before the show. We built a bunker in the sand to stay warm and safe and spent the evening in the middle of what we called “The War Zone”. It wasn’t really scary, just amazing seeing thousands of fireworks shooting off in every direction. I’ve never seen anything like it. This will definately become a yearly tradition for us. Nice to get out of the heat of Redding for a change!
Here’s our twin boys digging the bunker and a shot of the fireworks people were lighting off after the main fireworks show. We didn’t bring our good camera due to the sand so these photos are courtesy of Tommy’s brother.
How cool is that? I was just in Seaside this past Monday. Working on tons of pictures from the Oregon coast. 🙂
It’s so beautiful there. We were hoping to get some nice shots but the fog was too dense to mess with it. I’d love to see what you captured!
